Embassy House Cabinetry’s finish is a state-of-the-art product designed to produce a beautiful, but tough finish, giving many years of enjoyment. It begins with a careful selection and preparation of the wood. A uniform application of hand wiped stain follows to enhance the natural graining and coloring of the wood. Painted finishes require a special formulation and application in order to produce a durable, non-yellowing, long lasting finish. After drying, a high solids catalyzed vinyl sealer is applied and oven dried. Then careful hand sanding of the sealed wood to properly prepare it for the final topcoat application. After removing all the dust particles off the surface of the wood, a coat of high solids clear “water white” conversion varnish is applied and oven baked. The result is one of the finest finishes available -- as beautiful as it is durable.
